Bankruptcies in Orange County per capita up 34%
The US Courts informed today that 6.12 bankruptcies were filed per 1000 population during last year (10/01/2009 to 09/30/2010) in Orange County, which represents an increase of 34% compared to a year earlier. And even though non-business bankruptcy filings continued to rise during this period, business filings dropped slightly for the first time since 2006.
